New additions: Voodoo dolls + Princess + Tootoo

Alfie & I headed to Suntec after work. We met up with Ellie at the arcade where she spent an outrageous amount of $$ trying to catch a voodoo doll plush (from Stitch) from the machine. She finally succeeded, & promptly decided to catch another one after I said I wanted one too. We went away with 2 J

Got 3 sushi kitty plush straps + an A4 file from MMY

We went to Singapore Flyer for dinner at Popeye, & Buildabear after that. I got s suntan kitty plush (named Princess) + a hula outfit for her. Ellie got a tortoise plush for herself which she named Tootoo. It had a shell pouch on its back which she declared is going to keep her toto & 4D tix safe & sound.. haha

Watched Fantaghiro 1 online. I watched it on TV many many years ago, but I still have a strong impression of it because I remember thinking back then that Fantaghiro is the most beautiful princess I have ever seen. I still think she is J More about Fantaghiro later.

Happening weekend

Headed to IMM after work today as Ellie wanted to go to Angela Zhang’s autograph session.

After queueing for a long time, Ellie finally managed to get her autograph. Happy & satisfied, we went to Daiso. I’m definitely a Daiso shopper --> always perk up at the idea of going to a shop where everything is priced at $2. Can browse & buy alot of frivolous stuffs… heehee.

Dinner at Pepperlunch – Beef pepper rice.

Took 1 of the longest bus rides ever today, cos Ellie was too lazy to take the train. 10.50pm - boarded bus 105 from Jurong East interchange all the way to Serangoon interchange. Then walked out to main road where we took bus 82 home. Reached home 12.20am! Gosh, I’ll stick to the train next time…

Went to Singpost at Hougang Mall to post items, then lunch at Ajisen with Alfie & Ellie where I had my fave chashu ramen. We went to Vivo after that. Alfie went off on his own to do his shopping while Ellie & I walked about. He came back to meet us later with his purchases à khaki pants + blue shirt from Gap, work pants from G2000, Salsa dip + choc chips from M&S,

Alfie tried to book tix for Chronicles of Narnia – Prince Caspian, 8 /9 /10pm+ shows the nite before but mostly sold out. At 7pm, while thinking what to have for dinner, we decided to catch a midnight show for it & headed down to Cathay Building. Luckily there is a show at 11.20pm which is still available. Alfie went to q at Nihon Mura while Ellie & I went to buy the movie tix. Surprisingly, there are 6 seats left in the centre last row. The others left are all first 3 rows seats. We wanted to get 3 tix for the back row but the staff refused to sell us, saying they can only sell tix in pairs. Impulsively, I decided to buy 4 tix so that we get the last row centre seats. Ellie then started frantically calling people to see if anyone wants to join us since we have an extra tix. Guess who ended up watching with us? Mommy J She was sporting enuff to join us despite the late timing.

Dinner at Nihon Mura was super oishii! All sushi priced at 99 cents.

Yummy grilled food reasonably priced too.

After dinner, Ellie went to the arcade at Dhoby G station while she waited for mom to arrive. Alfie & I went to Robinson’s as they have a late nite sale until 11pm. Alfie got a pair of shoes while I got new lingerie from the Triumph sale. Rushed back to Cathay for the movie. Very very nice movie! Totally enjoyed it. Reached home at 2+ am. Super happening day today.

Woke up at 12pm. Ellie sent Alfie to CCK on her bike as he got a case. I made my way to Suntec City to wait for them. I went to Mumuya, Mango, Promod, Topshop, Toyroom, GG<5 & Iora but nothing to get today. We headed to Asian Kitchen at Citylink for lunch.

My porkchop ramen is delicious.

Alfie got called to Yishun after lunch. So Ellie & I went window shopping again. Dinner was at Secret Recipe where Ellie had a chicken kebab with herb rice.

I had a chilled blueberry cheesecake.

Reached home 8+ & surfed the net until now. Time for bed.

Bling Me x Hello Kitty Collaboration

This crystallized Kitty by Bling Me! is 1 of the loveliest kitty items I have ever seen. I like it for its simplicity in the design & the basic yet striking colors. It uses 55,000 crystals! Cost --> 1,500,000yen. I doubt I'll ever be able to buy it, so I hope I can find something similar that doesn't cost as much :)

Funky Diva x Kitty Bobblehead (handmade)

Yes! After glueing on the diamantes yesterday, my FD x KT bobblehead is finally complete
I was inspired by the design on my new FD x KT bag & decided to make a bobblehead since I love them. She has a bright pink afro-do + gold skin tone + Little Black Dress + bling on her hand & foot
What I like most is the painting part, that was fun. What I dislike most (but it is the most important) is the molding part. I got wet sticky clay all over my hands & under my nails, & I have to keep washing my hands when the clay builds up cos it gets in the way of molding the features. It takes a long time to finish too. But in the end, it is all worth it. Behold my new kitty

Alfie & I went to Bugis J to check out the Re-ment stuff there, after which we met up with Ellie to watch Iron Man at Vivo City. Dinner was at Shin Kushiya where we had the Moriwase set.

Very sad, lost an auction for a rare vintage phone today. Must try to think on the bright side --> I saved $500. But somehow I would rather part with the money than to feel this sad... Super HOT HOT HOT day today! What's wrong with the weather?? No mood to do anything - spent the whole day painting the new Kitty figure. Decided on gold for the face & body, then switched to light beige, then switched to dark beige, then switched back to gold. Decided on pink for the dress, then switched to purple, then switched to green, then switched to black. What all this switching means is that I kept repainting over & over. Grrr!!! Nothing is going right for me today. Good thing is it's almost finished. Watched abit of the Last Samurai showing on TV - sad movie too, all that death... Hopefully seeing my new Tokidoki & momoberry items tomorrow will cheer me up. Almost time for bed, but pretty much wide awake. Long day awaits me tomorrow, sure hope I can get to sleep soon.

Alfie & I decided to go shopping at Taka today. We headed straight for lunch at Crystal Jade LMXLB as we were both craving for xiaolongbao.

I had the Pork Rib La Mian in spicy soup while Alfie had 2 baskets of xiaolongbao.

Bought a box of poster paints + shiny pink paper from Kino.

Today’s niceness: Re-ment Rose & Mint Choc set on sale for $3 at Dollz Inc.

All Butter Choc Chunks Cookies + Minestrone soup from M&S.

Takeaway sushi from Isetan Scotts at 20% off.

Dinner at Sakura at FEP.
Hotplate Beef with dry chilli + kailan in oyster sauce with rice.

Ellie & I went to Sanrio at Taka after work - reopening after a renovation. They had a special lucky dip at $5 each but alas! it was almost finished by the time we reached... Nicer layout now & more items too. Bought a Hawaii Kitty plush. Collected Vogue Nippon at Kino and went home for shabu shabu dinner.

Went for a flu jab & tabao-ed my fave veggie rice.

Mushrooms + soya sauce chicken + hei-zou

Spent 4hrs+ molding clay for new Kitty figure while watching Harry Potter & OOTP + Chronicles of Narnia.

Dinner was KFC + porridge with Bovril.

Ellie & I went to IMM Daiso. No new Kitty stuff…

Bought a pink polkadot shopping bag + 3 display cases.

Lunch: Chashu Ramen at Ajisen. Ellie ordered extra paiku. They are really good!

Alfie bought a new 32 inch Samsung Full HD TV. Baby knows how to appreciate good things. He zoomed straight in when he saw it.

New toy for Alfie - huge kickass monitor.
Guess where his old 26 inch TV went to? My house of course. Ellie & I have a “new” monitor now
